Over the coming months, Country House Realty will be developing this section of our website to include features that will help tell the story of what it’s really like to be a homeowner in our region of the Catskills, and surrounding areas. There will be a guide for home buyers and home sellers, to help take some of the mystery out of the process, and a glimpse of who our neighbors are and how we spend out time.
I’m particularly excited about the Before & After feature, as I’ve had the great pleasure of watching buyers purchase and transform, over time, their dwelling and grounds, into a home that is distinctly theirs. Many of these people are now my neighbors and friends, and hopefully you will enjoy reading about their odyssey, and it will inform your experience down the road. I’ve started with some great Catskills renovation stories that have already been published, in Upstate Updates.
Another section that is significant to me, being one of the few GREEN® designees in Sullivan County, will focus on green/ sustainable/ energy-efficient building practices and lifestyle choices, so that as a community we can all continually move toward protecting and preserving our surrounding natural treasures.
